The megacorp news doesn’t really report on pilot shortages, mainly driven by the vaccine mandates and firing staff that refused the highly experimental gene therapies (this affected a lot of industries). So read that as they have staffing issues at the end of the month as the pilots and personnel they do have left are maxing out their flight time or overtime. Another consideration, people that took the gene therapy have weakened immune systems making them more susceptible to more severe illness not to mention adverse effects. There were school systems that were having large numbers of students out sick and a whole host of other documentation on weakened immune systems and gene therapy adverse effects. But this leaked memo is priceless, if you don’t have a doctor’s note on your return to work that’s insubordination and you’re terminated. Don’t work forced overtime, that’s insubordination and you’re terminated. This is a glaring example of the lack of respect that management shows staff, and then they wonder why they have staffing issues and they’re not respected. If I tell my employer I’m sick and unable to work, that should be sufficient or I’d terminate our relationship. Life is too short to work for people that don’t trust and respect you, and in this case they actually worked to harm you by forcing an extremely experimental and untested vaccine with no idea of the long term consequences, and now shown to cause heart damage in a large number of recipients, with pilots having been retired due to medical disability from the gene therapy adverse effects. So this is a warning to not schedule flights at the end of the month, especially with Southwest.
