This is an astonishing engineering blunder. And I’m glad I didn’t see this before we’ve been going through all the tunnels in Colorado over the last couple weeks. And it’s not rocket science that anything fast setting isn’t as strong as something that takes longer to setup. Consequently, you’d have to think someone noticed and brought it to the attention of managers, to be brushed off. At least the new redundant method of securing it is much safer, though at what expense beyond the woman’s life.
