The incoming surveillance state is going to be so much worse than anything 1984 hinted at. And all this AI surveillance, facial recognition, vehicle tracking… is going to end up all connected together. An interesting tidbit is the convoy recognition, connecting vehicles seen traveling together. Worth mentioning, there was a story of ALPR cameras being added to school buses, so I’d offer we’ll eventually have surveillance cameras on all government vehicles.
