Most of the tech Linux media hasn’t really covered XLibre properly other than Lunduke, and he’s done a nice piece on their one year anniversary. In the time of the push to digital ID and all the tech megacorps in the Linux space working us towards agentic AI spyware, it’s refreshing that projects are forking and keeping truly free software alive. And I run XLibre on my Arch systems and it’s been working great, even with gaming on Linux.
