Microsoft’s LinkedIn is doing some very mischievous things when you visit and use LinkedIn, like scanning your browser for what extensions you have. And it just goes to show, you can’t trust big tech and their social media platforms. I’m thinking I need to go revisit my uMatrix and uBlock Origin settings for Github also owned by Microtrash. Also worth pointing out something with these megacorps building the Panopticon, they didn’t disclose what they’re doing in the privacy policy, so can we trust them to not be capturing and sending data to the government and elsewhere? So best to keep as much data as possible off their platforms. And this shows a sever lack of ethics along the lines of PayPal and Honey.
