Beyond Meta we now have OpenAI caught funding age verification laws, and rather sneakily. Consequently, a lot of these supposed organizations that seem to be grass roots are not, or taking donations that require board seats so they can make sure their money is spent appropriately, thus giving up control of the organization. And I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t more corruption involved.
