Holdonaut put together a good amount of information on how we got these young silly women added as Bitcoin devs, and it kind of seems like this Newbury guy might have groomed (seduced?) and manipulated them as people he could utilize in his attack on Bitcoin Core. At least Zhao has been burned and left, but not after doing some real damage and driving away over 20% of node runners to alternative software, now with a soft fork in play to undue the damage. Us common node runners are the only thing standing in the way of these disingenuous people hijacking Bitcoin. So the Bitcoin experiment continues.
