Chapter 17 of Revelation covers the great prostitute seated on seven mountains which is Islam based in Mecca, with the many waters being the multitude of people that will follow Islam waiting for their Messiah (full chapter at bottom), who is the Mahdi, the Christian Antichrist. I’ve previously covered who the Antichrist is, and how the seven heads reference the seven emirates of the UAE, with Antichrist being the crown prince of Dubai. But the interesting part is that Antichrist turns on Islam, the great prostitute.
Revelation 17:15–18
[15] And the angel said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. [16] And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, [17] for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. [18] And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.” (ESV)
Consequently, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are in conflict today over regions in the Middle East and Africa with proxy wars in Sudan, Yemen… Is this the destruction of Mecca with fire? Also, Antichrist will make himself God with the abomination that causes desolation in the Temple.
2 Thessalonians 2:3–12
[3] Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, [4] who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. [5] Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? [6] And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. [7] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. [8] And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. [9] The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, [10] and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. [11] Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, [12] in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (ESV)
And Daniel covers the last week, or seven years which is the tribulation. And we get the reference to the midway point where Antichrist claims to be God in the temple with the abomination that causes desolation.
Daniel 9:27
[27] And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” (ESV)
And Christ warned us about the abomination of desolation for which I included the LSB version which has it instead of he, both translations work as it’s both an it and a demonic entity.
Mark 13:14–15
The Abomination of Desolation and the Tribulation
14 “But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. (LSB)
So what might the abomination that causes desolation be? In Islam, the Mahdi, Islamic messiah, is accompanied by Isa, Jesus or the False Prophet in Christian eschatology, whose purpose is to tell Christians they’re wrong about Jesus. He’ll perform many miracles, and will set up an image of Antichrist after possibly a false resurrection of Antichrist, and will be allowed to give the image breath.
Revelation 13:11–18
The Second Beast
[11] Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. [12] It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. [13] It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, [14] and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. [15] And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. [16] Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, [17] so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. [18] This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666. (ESV)
This is where I believe the image of the beast given breath is possibly the false sign of superintelligent AI, and the clue is it’s ability to kill all those who don’t take the mark of the beast, as it will manage a global surveillance system. This could be accomplished by a fallen angle as they are supernatural beings that would meet the superintelligence threshold being much more intelligent than us human beings. And we have yet another clue from Daniel’s prophecy that jumps to the time of Antichrist.
Daniel 11:36–39
[36] “And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done. [37] He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all. [38] He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these. A god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. [39] He shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price. (ESV)
Of interest, he shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, magnifying himself above all, but will honor the god of fortresses instead of these. Are we talking about the superintelligent AI image created above and given breath by the False Prophet? Just recently, there is this article below with the UAE referring to their AI adoption and investment as making their country a fortress. And look at how many times fortress is used in the article referencing the UAE.
“To preserve a civilisation, you must have a fortress. Our ancestors laid the foundation of the Emirati fortress and our leaders and sons fortified it. The strength of the Emirati fortress is the Emirati family. No matter the challenges today and tomorrow, the Emirati fortress grows stronger and more stable with the people.”
Also worth mentioning is the UAE project Stargate $30 billion AI data center, larger than Monaco, is set to be completed in the third quarter of 2026. And if you remember the president had a press conference with Larry Ellison and Sam Altman for the $500 billion project Stargate, with this statement.
OpenAI hopes Stargate will push progress for artificial general intelligence.
And then this gem.
It is in this context that one of the world’s largest computing infrastructure projects is taking shape in the UAE. Abu Dhabi AI company G42 has teamed up with technology giants OpenAI, Oracle and Nvidia, alongside Japan’s SoftBank Group, to create Stargate UAE. This will form part of a system of OpenAI-linked data centres around the world that are critical to today’s economic, societal and business needs.

The project is the result of years of building relationships. The Stargate announcement is just the latest in a series of high-profile agreements between the UAE and tech giants, as well as the US government with the White House announcing in March that the Emirates had committed to a $1.4 trillion investment framework related to artificial intelligence infrastructure, semiconductors, energy and manufacturing.
And the Antichrist is third from the left, next to the Nvidia CEO who is next to Sam Altman.
And why the name Stargate? In the movie and television show, Stargates were technology used by aliens that made themselves out to be gods to take advantage of worlds they captured, with the Stargate being a quick way to revisit the conquered worlds and keep them subjugated.
The UAE is leading the way in the global AI race, says Deputy Prime Minister
Advances in artificial intelligence and Emirati family values have made the country a fortress, says Sheikh Saif bin Zayed

The UAE’s national identity is synonymous with advances in artificial intelligence, the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior said.
Sheikh Saif bin Zayed made his comments while addressing the World Governments Summit in Dubai on Thursday. The Emirates was recognised as a global leader when it came to AI, he said. This, coupled with traditional family values and strong security, made the nation an “Emirati fortress”.
“By competing globally across all pillars of AI, the UAE has become the world’s leading country in the AI adoption index,” Sheikh Saif said.
An index on AI adoption was recently released by Microsoft and ranked nations on the share of people who had used a generative AI product. The UAE topped the rankings for the second half of last year with 64 per cent.
The closest country to the Emirates on the list was Singapore with 60.9 per cent. Both the UAE and Singapore were well ahead of third-place Norway, with 46.4 per cent.
Sheikh Saif offered the Stargate UAE project as an example of how the country was leading the way when it came to AI. “The pillars of strength for nations are industry, technological leadership, a comprehensive deterrence while the most important pillar is a solid family,” he said.

Another sign of the UAE’s global standing was in its reputation for safety and security, Sheikh Saif said. The National reported last month how the UAE is planning to produce 60 trillion AI tokens through its vast Stargate data centre, as it bids to become the global centre for the technology.
The figure would be equal to about 60 per cent of global production. Tokens in AI are the basic unit to calculate the length of text and can include punctuation marks and spaces, and vary from language to language.
“The world trusts the UAE because it will handle the data of nations and companies the same way it handles embassies protected by law,” he said.
Sheikh Saif said proof of this was provided by the fact the UAE tied with China for first place in the most recent Edelman Trust Barometer, which ranks nations on public trust in their institutions.

The Great Prostitute and the Beast
[1] Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, [2] with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk.” [3] And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. [4] The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. [5] And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: “Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.” [6] And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
When I saw her, I marveled greatly. [7] But the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. [8] The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. [9] This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; [10] they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. [11] As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. [12] And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. [13] These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. [14] They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
