American Soldiers Consuming Meals Below USDA Standards With Dangerous Levels of Primarily Chinese Pesticides Related to GMO Foods Banned by China and Russia Militaries
Experts Offer President Trump a Roadmap to Ensure America Leads the World in Providing its Military with Healthy American Food for American Soldiers
New, independent laboratory testing commissioned by Moms Across America, with the support of Children’s Health Defense Military Chapter and Centner Academy reveal that U.S. military food, including Meals, Ready to Eat (MREs) and other rationed and cafeteria items, have extremely low levels of nutrients and are contaminated with a mixture of toxic pesticides, banned veterinary drugs, heavy metals, and glyphosate at levels that pose serious threats to human health. The groups also provide a step-by-step course correction for the President to ensure American soldiers are given the healthiest American-made food in the world.
Moms Across America was motivated to test military food after learning that China does not feed its military GMOs and Russia does not allow GMOs into its country.

- 40 samples –16 samples from 6 military base cafeterias and 24 MREs were tested for toxins and nutrients. The samples contained ingredients such as wheat, corn, soy, and meat likely grown, raised, or imported during the Biden Administration.

- 95% of military food tested contained harmful levels of glyphosate – a carcinogen, endocrine disruptor, and chelator of nutrients – 85.7% of companies that produce glyphosate are China-owned. 80% of GMOs, such as soy, corn, canola, and sugar beets, are engineered to withstand glyphosate. Glyphosate is also used as a drying agent on many non-organic crops used in military food ingredients.
- The presence of harmful, banned veterinary drugs in meat suggests that imports must be stopped.
- High levels of heavy metals – up to 17,000 times higher than EPA standards for drinking water were present.
- The PFOS level detected in a military food sample was approximately 30 times higher than the EPA’s drinking water standard.
- Some mineral levels in military food were lower than USDA standards, but higher than school lunches, showing fortification, which has health risks.
- American troops deserve American Food- regeneratively grazed, non-toxic, nutrient-dense food grown by American farmers!
- Preliminary research shows that the Department of War could support the transition to regenerative and organic farming practices and feed the US military and American school children with regenerative organic food for less than 2% of its 1.5 trillion-dollar budget.

Doing so would provide national homeland security assurance for generations to come. Those steps include: Adjusting the DoW budget to prioritize sourcing meat from American regenerative ranchers, supporting transitioning to regenerative, organically grown farming practices to provide non-toxic, nutrient-dense American-grown produce to the US Military and school children, testing current meat and food supplies for harmful chemicals and identifying the source of contamination, and monitoring the improvement of nutrient density by testing and prioritizing sourcing from nutrient-dense American-grown crops.
