Worth pointing out as it’s in a comment he covers, when people can’t argue on merits, they resort to declaring the winning side of the argument as promoting FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt). Given the Bitcoin community is hip to TradFi and mainstream propaganda, it’s odd that Bitcoin Core is employing the same propaganda techniques used on the regular public.
In this video, I revisit Satoshi Dice spam and ask why key Bitcoin Core devs have such a different view of spam today than they did back in 2012-2013– to the extent of even denying that spam exists.
I also discuss recent progress on the “Reduced Data Temporary Softfork,” once known as BIP-444 and now known as BIP-110.
