Bitcoin Core Dumpster Fire

A good update on the status of Bitcoin and a proposed soft fork to fix the damage done by Bitcoin Core and their captured developers. This is the second significant attack by bankers to make running your own verifying node problematic whether for mining or transactional use, because if they can get control of nodes and make them corporate servers under their control, they’ll then control the software that defines Bitcoin by what they choose to run instead of normal users around the world. Consequently, the first major attack was the Bitcoin Cash hard fork, which failed. So they’ve been much sneakier with this scheme, years in development and execution.
