Worth pointing out the Bible is clear that the scripture and revelation from God is sealed and complete in our Bible until this age concludes with the extraction of the church, just before God’s judgement is unleashed. So a good way to tell false churches like the Catholics or Charismatics is that the sign gifts are alive along with direct revelation from God, prophecy. It’s a dangerous place to put oneself by lying that you are relaying the words of God given directly to you by God. As when you look at scripture, the false prophets didn’t fare too well, as wisdom is to fear the one that can destroy both body and soul in hell. And an even greater blasphemy is to say there are modern Apostles, as those positions belonged to men that were taught directly by Christ with the task of starting Christ’s church, the body of believers, as the office ended with them, as another foundation doesn’t need to be laid.
