‘CLIMATE LOCKDOWN’: Nova Scotia Bans Citizens From Going into the Woods Amid Fire Risk

(Headline article at bottom) This is very interesting as the Agenda 2030 plan is to eventually move people into smart cities and make it illegal to go to rural and forest areas. So Nova Scotia for threat of wildfires has outlawed the woods, trails… with a $25,000 fine, possibly until October or conditions warrant. So listen to property expert witness Rosa Koire outline the globalist plans and how this might give a clue as to how they will frame locking people out of nature areas. And it also adds a wrinkle to these arson fires throughout Canada and California with how they can be used beyond the property grabs and insurance shenanigans underway while hyping “global warming” as causing fires, which is incredulous.

Premier Tim Houston’s sweeping ban on hiking, driving, and recreation in Nova Scotia forests stirs controversy as wildfire threat prompts extraordinary measures.

Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston has triggered a wave of public outcry after announcing a sweeping ban on hiking, driving, and other outdoor activities in the province’s forests to prevent the risk of wildfires. Beginning Tuesday, citizens are no longer permitted to enter the woods for recreation — including hiking, fishing, or riding ATVs — under penalty of a $25,000 fine.

The new restrictions come in response to persistent drought conditions and fears of another catastrophic wildfire season. Over 200 homes were destroyed by wildfires in Nova Scotia in 2023. Houston said the current weather poses an extreme risk and called on residents to take personal responsibility for preventing fire outbreaks.

“Conditions continue to be extremely dry. Until we get a significant amount of rain, we’re at an elevated risk of wildfires,” Houston said. “Most wildfires are caused by human activity, so to reduce the risk, we’re keeping people out of the woods until conditions improve. I’m asking everyone to do the right thing – don’t light that campfire, stay out of the woods and protect our people and communities.”

According to the CBC, people may still camp in designated campgrounds, but access to surrounding trails and natural areas is prohibited. Vehicles are also barred from nature areas under the new directive.

Additional restrictions now require a permit to conduct forestry, mining, or any commercial activity on provincial Crown land. The order, which could last “for the rest of the summer,” effectively shutters access to much of Nova Scotia’s wilderness — prompting critics to describe the policy as a form of climate lockdown.

Canadian attorney and political commentator Viva Frei strongly condemned the decision. “The last saving grace for Canada was its great outdoors. Tim Houston belongs in jail,” he wrote on .

As backlash grows, the Nova Scotia government insists the measures are temporary and necessary to prevent another wildfire disaster. Whether public patience endures as summer continues remains to be seen.
