Consequently, I grew up in the Sacramento area with black friends, and they really instill in one another the boogeyman of racism which I never saw, as perceived racism was usually due to their attitude or behavior. But they weren’t receptive to hearing reason, and I would be dismissed because I was white and didn’t know what it was like to be black… In today’s society, blacks have a lot of special privileges if they will mildly apply themselves, and whites have it difficult even if merit favors them.
