The wife and I have been watching old shows as a lot of modern TV is trash and dark, and they beat you over the head with the propaganda messaging, especially the alphabet mafia nonsense. And they were even doing it back in the 70’s here and there, but much less so. Consequently, we’ve really been enjoying The Rockford Files (free on Roku channel), and to see this episode of Jay Leno’s Garage showing the restored car complete with all the microphone jacks was a treat. Now I can’t unsee the microphone jacks on the fenders and quarter panels when watching the show. So enjoy the history of the iconic car James Garner picked and painted custom for the show, as the color was not offered from the factory.
