After doing a conservative ‘sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade” there was one package in red I didn’t pay enough attention to which broke my KDE 5 desktop environment. So using XFCE also installed, I went ahead and did a full-upgrade which removed KDE. And then I installed the task-kde-desktop which installed the KDE desktop and to my surprise it’s now KDE 6.2.3. So within a few days it should flow down to Debian Testing. I’ve been running KDE 6 on my laptop since it first came out and was pretty buggy, as the laptop runs Arch. But it’s been working very well of late after all the updates, and now can be used on Debian Unstable, and soon Debian Testing. And next year when Debian 13 comes out, we’ll have it on Debian Stable as well.
