East/Gulf Coast Longshoreman Union President on a Potential Strike: “I Will Cripple You!”

A good overview of the longshoreman inbound strike on the east and gulf coasts, along with impacts. The west coast ports will still be working, but it would be a loss of 50% port capacity leading to a lot of shortages for different industries. And credit to the No Agenda Show that played a couple clips of the union president. And curiously, how much of a slow down would happen on the west coast for sympathetic union members? Consequently, I can’t stand unions having been forced to be part of the CWA in my time with AT&T, which was a useless organization taking dues and fracturing the relationship between workers and management while propagandizing the members for liberal politicians like Obama. And as a Christian, you don’t tell your employer what to do or strike, as we’re called to work as though for Christ. And If you don’t like the terms of employment, you leave and do something else. And generally, unions run cover for bad employees who were generally the ones that voted for union representation, as good employees were doing fine on their own and are usually harmed under union contracts not to mention putting seniority over merit.
