Future Witnesses and God’s Faithfulness (Revelation 11:1–2)

This is a wonderful sermon on the faithfulness of God, and how that is our hope in that God will fulfill His promises. And this is even when we don’t deserve it or have fallen short of God’s standards. The only righteousness a believer can have trust in is the righteousness imputed to us through Christ. Our account credited with righteousness because of Christ through grace and His sacrifice on our behalf, reconciling us to God. And God’s faithfulness to bring us with Him into eternity after death or our extraction from the earth as the time grows near.

Deuteronomy 9:4–5

[4] “Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out before you. [5] Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
