The not keyed gears on the Crank (pressed) is horrible, but probably not as terrible as having the oil pump and timing belts submerged in oil. And of course, many belt teeth were found in the oil pickup screen and probably had something to do with the engine failure. You’d have to think that it’s hard to work for Ford the way they’re run, and the good engineers have left. Or is this DEI in action. Whatever the case, I wouldn’t buy one.
