Automatic-Transmission on a Motorcycle? 2021 Honda NC750X DCT | Daily Rider

This dual clutch automatic transmission on this Honda is pretty outstanding. I would never own a motorcycle myself without a clutch and manual shifter, but this might appeal to new riders as manual transmissions have been phased out of vehicles for CVT transmissions for CAFE standards. Learning to ride a motorcycle with the clutch and shifter would be a lot if you never drove a manual transmission car or truck, so this would let you learn to ride and then maybe jump to a manual transmission later when you’re looking for a more engaging ride with more performance. And Honda has been making DCT transmissions for a while, so it’s pretty refined. Kudos to the engineers advancing motorcycle technology.
