If you run your own Allstarlink node with Hamvoip, they have instructions for using Autosky Skywarn for weather alerts, but there is a much more feature rich weather alert system called Skywarn Plus coded in Python by Mason Nelson which can also be setup to read the weather alerts via DTMF command utilizing a text to speech service (free) which is quite outstanding. I actually prefer it to the National Weather Service weather radio automation. The author walks you through installation at bottom in his YouTube video and I highly recommend it. Consequently, it has the ability to also push these alerts to you phone which I think I’ll test out next, and the author has also taken care of adding the alerts to Supermon and Supermon2 with better formatting (see image below). Of course, 99% of the time I interact with my node through AllScan which is another great project you can add to your node to easily access favorites and see activity on your favorites.
