Is the UFC Jumping the Shark?

I have to say I do enjoy watching the UFC MMA events, and they have a very talented roster. And worth noting, there are a lot of guys who claim to be Christian and give thanks and praise to God after fights, but lately there are too many guys that are just ugly in pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable in promoting fights (see press conference below). Compared to the eastern ONE Championship that values honor and respect between martial artists, the UFC is reflecting the degeneracy of western civilization. Consequently, after the UFC accepted a Bud Light sponsorship and CEO Dana White gave a big middle finger to fans that took offense to the move, I cancelled my ESPN+ subscription due to be renewed in March to give an extra data point to the UFC. I was planning on renewing before it expired, but now I think I’ll drop the UFC and turn solely to ONE Championship (Formula 1 is also woke so I wouldn’t renew for them either). Of course the UFC was bought by a huge megacorp for $4 billion, combined with the stage play of WWE wrestling, and in a deal with Demonic Disney’s ESPN, so should I really be surprised.

Good commentary on the press conference.

The press conference provoked Sean Strickland to go after Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 296 causing a fight in the stands. So yes, the UFC has jumped the shark. Though I have to side with Dricus, you talk as much trash as Strickland does, you have to take whatever someone dishes back at you.
