It’s true God doesn’t hate homosexuals but only the sin of homosexuality, and in Romans 1 God lists it as a punishment for people that have rejected Him. God removes His grace that keeps them from getting caught up in really destructive sinful behavior and turns them over so that they might realize their error as they descend further into depravity. Consequently, God also said no homosexuals will make it into heaven, and you can’t be saved until you want out from your sin realizing God is real. Then He will draw you to Himself, and remember that Christ said no one comes to Him unless the Father draws them. So true hateful behavior is to affirm someone in their homosexuality where they might continue in their sin and end up in hell, the second death, their sinful condition forever locked in as they are separated from God and His children for eternity.
But these people listed in the article don’t follow the one true God, and their subversive actions towards the faith betray who their father is, as you can judge a tree by its fruit. I usually get mad when people misuse my Savior’s name, but God has it all under control and no one will escape the white throne judgement and the opening of the books where all their deeds are recorded. True wisdom is to fear the One that can destroy both body and soul in hell. Unfortunately, too many “Christian” artists are anything but. And, this story from a liberal platform really shows Lecrae’s true colors, as he says calls to have him not perform at churches is because he’s black, and he’s clearly trying to keep black “Christians” voting for Demonrats when their platform goes against God and scripture in so many ways, e.g. abortion, sexual perversion, child gender dysphoria with chemical and physical mutilation, lawlessness…
Making the news cycle in 2021, you may remember some of the hype surrounding hip-hop artist, Lil Nas’ and his conversion to Satanism. Lil Nas not only came out as a flaming homosexual, but also as one who worships the devil as he depicted himself in disgusting sex acts with Satan in his music video.
But all of that is old news. I will not link to the video. I only mention this to bring up the next disturbing issue, that the “Christian” hip hop community has come out in full support of Lil Nas’ who is openly and proudly homosexual. But even worse, these so-called “Christian” rappers are endorsed by The Gospel Coalition.
The first is Andy Mineo, a Christian hip-hop artist who has been given glowing accolades by The [completely apostate] Gospel Coalition. Mineo apologizes to Lil Nas on behalf of Christians who oppose homosexuality.
Then there is Hulvey, who is associated with the flagship icon of Christian hip-hop, Lecrae, who also adds his apology for Christians into the mix. Hulvey tells Lil Nas that Jesus isn’t angry…that he isn’t angry that he depicts himself in homosexual acts with Satan. Because, yeah, God is cool with that, you know.
Then, it shouldn’t go without mentioning that Lecrae, himself, has buddied up with Lil Nas and while Lecrae has been out denouncing “white Christianity” nearly daily—and deconstructing from Christianity altogether—he’s been silent since his endorsement of Lil Nas. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Lecrae commented on a picture of the two at the BET Awards, saying “He told me his dad is a huge fan. Which is either a compliment or testament to how long I been doing this.”
Well, now Lil Nas wants to make Christian music, and thanks to his Evangelical endorsements from “Christian” rappers, like Lecrae, Hulvey, and Andy Mineo, he sees no issue with this. In fact, he has taken it to an extremely debased level, even claiming that he can continue to perform homosexual acts on other men while making Christian music, and that the two are not “mutually exclusive.” I HATE, HATE, HATE to even post this tweet from this foul individual, but we need to know what kind of ripple effect comes down the pipelines when we try to intertwine Christianity with the world and reconcile the two. Pastors approve of TGC, TGC approves of these “Christian rappers,” and these Christian rappers approve of Lil Nas, and Lil Nas posts this:
