ArcoLinux – The Learning Distro

There are a few GNU/Linux distributions that make installing Arch Linux a lot easier than doing it the Arch way which is extremely technical, e.g. Endeavor OS or Manjaro are excellent choices as I run both. But ArcoLinux is actually setup as a learning distribution so you learn a lot about GNU/Linux and Arch with a lot of different ways you can install it depending on your level of expertise. An interesting one I did yesterday was ArcoLinuxD which uses the calamares graphical installer letting you go through and select all the elements of the distribution you want to install, but this requires a lot of knowledge of what makes up the GNU/Linux system. Consequently, Erik Dubois who is a teacher by profession, has put up a myriad of videos to educate you to be a lot more proficient with Linux along with a lot of resources on the ArcoLinux website. So if you want to expand your GNU/Linux knowledge, ArcoLinux and Erik’s Youtube channel are worth a look, and I’ll include his video on all the ways you can install ArcoLinux or even Arch below.
