One of my favorite pastors who always preached on God’s Word emphasizing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ has gone to be with our Savior. One of the interesting things I always loved about Charles was that even though he was older, he always embraced technology. In the early days of the internet you could get his sermons through RealPlayer on early dial-up internet. His Intouch Ministries was translating his messages into many languages in their translations facility, putting them on radio all around the world, and even created hardware devices that would carry the bible, sermons, seminary resources…. Charles really took Jesus’ directive to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth very seriously, and really worked at completing that task hoping to do so in his lifetime. But don’t despair, for he’s left a rich library of books and sermons that can be enjoyed by people long into the future. I’m sure he heard, “well done good and faithful servant” upon his arrival home.
