Proxmox 7.4 With New Dark Mode and Linux Kernel 6.2

Welcome to the new dark mode on Proxmox, a great open source server virtualization OS to allow you to run multiple virtual servers and dvide up the hardware turning a single hardware server into multiple virtualized servers. Proxmox is a type I bare metal hypervisor passing the hardware to the virtual server so it runs directly on the hardware and memory just about as fast as if natively installed. Below is the dashboard for my home lab Dell Poweredge R410 server. Consequently, old server hardware can be picked up pretty cheaply off Ebay, and LabGopher is a great site to look for deals and hardware configurations you’d prefer. So it’s never been cheaper or easier to get server hardware and play around with server virtualization. And opensource Proxmox is a great platform to use and experiment with.
