Southern Baptist Megachurch Pastor Joins Andy Stanley at Conference Promoting Gay Sex

These heretical false teachers are getting extremely bold in their perversion of God’s word. This really looks like the work of the Freemasons which is a Satanic group that has been heavily involved in the corruption of the church and downplaying the Word of God for unity and liberal doctrines, even denying our Lord and Savior. When there is such an organized effort connecting so many false teachers, it’s not organic, but organized.

All of the main speakers at the event are on some level affirming of homosexuality and include Andy Stanley himself, John Ortberg, Greg & Lynn MacDonald, Debbie Causey, a gay-affirming counselor associated with Northpoint, and worst, a man named Justin Lee:

So who is Justin Lee? Lee is a board member of Matthew Vines’ Reformation Project. The Reformation Project is an organization that is dedicated to normalizing homosexual relationships and homosexual behavior in the Church. According to the website, the founder, Matthew Vines “delivered a speech at a church in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, making the case that Christians should affirm gay Christians and their marriage relationships. His speech went viral, having been seen more than a million times and leading to a feature story in The New York Times. In 2013, Matthew launched The Reformation Project to equip and empower Christians to advocate for LGBTQ inclusion in their faith communities. He speaks regularly at churches, universities, and conferences across the country.”

But Lee isn’t just affirming by proxy, Lee himself openly promotes homosexual behavior and gay sex. According to Lee’s own biography, The following is an excerpt from Justin Lee’s website, he explains how his views have shifted from non-affirming to affirming over the years, and that he now believes gay sex is okay:

“As many of you know, I’m fairly conservative in my theological views.  I believe that the Bible is morally authoritative, that sex is for marriage, and that promiscuity is harmful to everyone involved.  For many years of my life, I also believed that all homosexual behavior was wrong – whether it consisted of anonymous hookups or committed relationships.  I believed, based on what I had read in the Bible, that even the most loving and monogamous of same-sex relationships was evil in God’s eyes.  But as I studied the Bible, my view on that subject changed.  I now believe that homosexual behavior is appropriate within the confines of a committed, loving, monogamous, lifelong, Christ-centered relationship.  Essentially, I’m arguing that a Christ-centered marriage is a good thing, regardless of the gender of the people involved.”

Justin Lee is an American author, speaker, and LGBT Christian activist known for his focus on building bridges between groups who disagree. He is the author of Torn: Rescuing the Gospel from the Gays-vs.-Christians Debate, and the director of a 2009 documentary, Through My Eyes, which explores the struggles of young gay Christians.[1][2] He is also known for founding the Gay Christian Network, which he ran from 2001 to 2017.[3] Currently, he is the executive director of Nuance Ministries.

In 2017, Lee announced his next book would be published by Penguin Random House on the subject of “fighting cultural polarization and talking to the people you disagree with.” That book was released in 2018 as Talking Across the Divide: How to Communicate with People You Disagree With and Maybe Even Change the World.[4]

Background

Lee grew up in a conservative Christian home and continued identifying as an evangelical even after coming out as gay. According to The New York Times, “Justin Lee believes that the Virgin birth was real, that there is a heaven and a hell, that salvation comes through Christ alone and that he… is an evangelical Christian.”[5]

In 1997, after struggling to reconcile his own faith and sexuality, Lee posted his story online and heard from others who were similarly struggling. This led him to be more outspoken on behalf of LGBT Christians.[6][7]

James 4:4

[4] You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (ESV)

2 Peter 2:3

[3] And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. (ESV)

Romans 16:17–18

[17] I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. [18] For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. (ESV)

1 Corinthians 6:9–11

[9] Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, [10] nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (ESV)

Romans 1:18–32

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. [19] For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. [20] For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. [21] For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. [22] Claiming to be wise, they became fools, [23] and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

[24] Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, [25] because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

[26] For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; [27] and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

[28] And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. [29] They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, [30] slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, [31] foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. [32] Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. (ESV)

Matthew 7:21–23

I Never Knew You

[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. [22] On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ [23] And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (ESV)
