Hilariously, I was just listening to a ham tell a story that during a manhunt he stayed at a hotel that had federal agents taking over the rest of the rooms, and he’d walk down the halls and they had their room doors open with their guns on the bed. And remember, you can go to prison for giving false statements to federal agents, and why you never talk to one without a lawyer, at least to backup your side of the conversation in case they would write up a mistaken or false report. Of course, in this day and age, would most judges still give more weight to federal agent’s testimony?
