Yesterday with it supposed to reach 93F here in Cheyenne at 6,000 ft, the wife and I ran up to the Snowy Range above 10,000 ft, where it was 66F. It’s only a couple hours to the west as we drive through the Medicine Bow Mountains to Laramie and then across the Laramie Valley, and all through wonderfully beautiful country with many pronghorn spotted along the way. We then drove out the back side of the mountains and up through Saratoga and some beautiful ranch country. Consequently, driving around Wyoming never gets old, and we count ourselves blessed by God to have Wyoming as our home awaiting the Rapture. And there are several lakes and hiking trails in the basin we’ll have to come back to before the summer season ends.
