It looks like the main change with v8.1 was to accommodate ASL3 and some Supermon permissions, and in v8.0 the node information box display was updated to show if SkywarnPlus is active along with some nice color changes. If you’re unaware of SkywarnPlus, I have a post on why you might want to add this to your Allstarlink installation.
I injected the warnings in the second image for testing purposes. One note, it takes a little while for the toggling of SkywarnPlus to show up on Supermon, probably until the script runs and updates the data file that Supermon pulls the information from.

Consequently, I’m still using Hamvoip as ASL3 isn’t supported by AllScan as heard on a net recently. And looking at some posts, they might have some kinks to work out with the new version of ASL3 as well. Hamvoip is on an ancient version of Arch with an ancient version of Asterisk, but David, K4FXC, keeps up with security vulnerabilities and releases security updates as needed. And David also participates in the Tech Net on the WIN System, node 2560, Fridays at 1830 hours PST, so you can tune in and ask him questions about Hamvoip. Another resource for node help is the All Nodes Net on the W6EK system, node 51018, Mondays at 1800 hours PST.
