You can’t get good snacks anymore that don’t have GMO ingredients or chemical preservatives, so make your own which are a lot more healthy and delicious. The tartness of the Craisins are a nice change up to the typical raisins. And for a much more decadent version switch out the Craisins for Guittard Butterscotch chips.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons raw sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons Red Mill all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 + 1/3 cup Craisins
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
- Mix butter, raw sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in vanilla.
- Add in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, oats and Craisins and mix until combined.
- Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the edges begin to brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
