In addition to the MyID medical ID program started in East Palestine just before the derailment, we now learn that three alarms were triggered showing the increasing temperature of the axle that failed before the derailment. Per the NTSB, this was completely preventable. So what is really going on with the train derailment and the terrible decision to do an uncontrolled burn of such toxic chemicals? And the train cars are designed to burst and not spray shrapnel like originally claimed.
