The interesting takeaway is the matte screen cover on the folding display is there to mainly hide the inevitable scrachtes, as the soft and bendable screen scratches at level fingernail. And look at how much better the screen looks with that matte cover removed. Beyond expense, I’ve just never saw the draw for these flexible screens on a smartphone. If I had a use case, I’d just go with a tablet and carry it around with me. And these hinges aren’t up to snuff either. Maybe if you’re rich with a work use case while traveling a lot, this might be worthwhile. And am I the only one that hates those rounded corners?
