Why is Ubuntu rushing this use of the Rust cloned versions? Especially when they’re no where near ready. And I don’t trust Rust these days because of the megacorps in the Linux space rushing Rust versions of tried and true software. Personally, I think it’s for adding exploits for the governments and law enforcement, or possibly for agentic AI on your system to enforce age verification, digital ID access.
