I’ve encountered problems with some crypto Android wallets because they use vibe coding consistently adding bugs. This could come down to the coders ability to review the AI code, which I believe even if skilled enough, are they doing a sufficient enough job. And are you really adequately understanding the libraries and security if you’re not wading into it yourself? So myself, projects using vibe coding are a big red flag, and remember that Microsoft, Google… have claimed a significant chunk of their code is AI generated. Consequently, I’m predicting that we’ll see projects and distributions fork with the declaration that they don’t use vibe coding, or only use AI for added security review. And the biggest concern I have is what Lunduke covers about introduced backdoors added by AI and those that control the AI systems. Which makes me wonder about Google and Apple devices that can be hacked when in government custody, leaving only Graphene OS as a secure smartphone OS which is targeted by governments and Google to decrease its use…
