This doesn’t make Trump look very good. What’s kind of hilarious is Trump urging tankers to show some guts, when we have no naval vessels there to protect them. The whole thing stinks, as it looks like the economic impact is really what they’re after, and Trump is a member of the OCGFC, Owners and Controllers of Global Financialized Capital, who enrich themselves with this whole fiasco. And as powerful as US naval vessels are, they can easily expend their ammunition and end up vulnerable along with the commercial ships they’re supposed to be protecting.
