I watched this video to learn about the product, and I’m blown away by what a trash product this is. It has no secure element, so to unlock the device you need to access their server for an extra element to unlock your secret key. Some of the other functionality is interesting, but if their server is down or unreachable, you’re dead in the water using this cold wallet. And you have to wonder about the security implications and what they can do from their server, with the most notable being that they can lock you out of your funds until you restore the seed phrase into another cold wallet to move funds. And worth pointing out that Adam Back sold billions in Bitcoin and is working with the bankers, and also advocating for the ways they’re trying to corrupt Bitcoin to get rid of node runners, which is the protective layer from big tech taking over Bitcoin.
