This is a good opinion piece on the CIA podcast guest floating around. I had watched the one video on Diaries of a CEO which was interesting, but as the guy below points out, you never really leave the CIA. And a couple very interesting points in the video is Bustamante’s description of the UAE surveillance, and his response to Snowden. The popular theory is that Snowden was and is a CIA asset, and burned the NSA because they were growing stronger than the CIA due to all the surveillance, and a budgetary threat to the CIA’s empire (even with their illegal drug income). And during his comments about Snowden there was a laugh tell, and I thought I saw some smirks while he downplayed Snowden’s actual contribution to the world’s privacy. And the elephant in the room, is if you look at Snowden and Bustamante, they’re just dead in the eyes and weary, as a life specializing in lying takes an enormous toll on your conscious. And listen to his thoughts on how he perceives regular folks and our right to privacy.
