Mempool Queen Weighs In On Spam

The SPAM is a direct attack on Bitcoin node runners, as it’s going to blow up the UTXO database further and fill up your drive, requiring you to need much larger drives and computers with more memory if you need to keep all the UTXOs in memory for mining blocks along with storing those blocks on your drive. And with large OP_RETURNs there could be illegal content added to the blockchain putting node runners at risk for hosting it on their computers. And this argument that you can prune your node of this data is insincere, as that renders your node useless in regards to why we run nodes, having the entire blockchain. Consequently, Bitcoin node runners are the last defense for corporate interests in the space taking over the Bitcoin protocol and then controlling what software is run going forward, and if they can succeed in reducing regular node runners substantially, Bitcoin will be captured. But the real point I think in the video is these two pro spam developers he shows are so young and obviously compromised by outside interests. And below is all the current commit access developers. We really need more Bitcoin Knots adoption along with a third software version to combat this compromised group undermining Bitcoin, rendering this type of attack useless.
