Cities Shut Off Flock Cameras After Court Loss

I’ve covered these Flock ALPR cameras quite a bit, and they’re an incredible invasion of our privacy, so this case is hilarious, in that the judge ruling since tax payer dollars pay for these cameras the images must be released via FOIA requests. Now the government is saying that’s an invasion of people’s privacy and shutting down the cameras. Consequently, this is just in one area of Washington state, but it perhaps will become a method of attacking this system around the rest of the nation. And we’ll have to see governments address this going forward.
