This is a solid presentation, and he got me to laugh out loud with the “COVID logic” comment. But we’re seeing these attacks happening, and it’s all to keep Bitcoin and its layer 2 payment solutions from getting mass adoption, and why they keep the capital gains taxes in place. Consequently, the number of Bitcoin Knots nodes just keeps growing, so the people that actually get the revolution that is Bitcoin are fighting back.
And it’s always good to have a counterpoint, but I could only stomach about 20 minutes of this interview, as Bitcoin Core developer Peter Todd has all kinds of tells for being deceptive. And instead of logically just talking about the technical details, he’s playing games and it’s just not interesting or informative. I especially like how in reference to filtering spam transactions, he keeps saying “censorship”. He needs a handler that can better coach him on his propaganda spins. Consequently, I don’t think I’ll be running Bitcoin Core again anytime soon until this guy is removed from the project.
