Red Hat Community Manipulation

In the following video, Lunduke covers some public interaction between a YouTube Linux influencer who I don’t really care for, and how a Red Hat employee is trying to manipulate him. Beyond the Red Hat employee’s actions, pay close attention to the comments by Linux influencer about trying to influence the community. And this all relates to how Red Hat (IBM) has been killing X.Org and promoting their Wayland project to replace it, and how this has led to the fork of X.Org into XLibre. Why is Red Hat so desperate to prevent XLibre from being successful? Consequently, Wayland just had a release after about a year, with not much activity, which makes you wonder if all their shenanigans are already affecting developers supporting their project, as even your paid staff can have their morale damaged impacting productivity, like with the Flatpak project. And Wayland has some issues that should be fixed, and worth pointing out that it has limitations for application developers and is no where near replacing X for all users. And even though the tech press that covers Linux has been spinning things for Red Hat (IBM), enough people are waking up, and no longer buying the lies about X.Org being too old and cumbersome a code base along with Wayland being newew and the future. And Wayland has been in development since 2008, and still isn’t quite ready.
