It’s amazing how Wayland has been propagandized in the Linux tech media, that many people believe the lies around Wayland and that X.Org should be retired. I stopped listening to some Linux podcasts because they were just regurgitating the false premises. Consequently, Wayland has been in development since 2008, and still has a lot of issues, limited functionality, but the main distributions under megacorp control are setting up to drop X.Org and force people to Wayland and Wayland only. At least we have XLibre which is going to continue development with a fork of X.Org, along with other projects resisting the DEI and sexual deviancy agendas being manipulated by the corporations to further their agenda. It’s curious what exactly is the agenda, which is either to damage Linux and it’s adoption, or setup for integration with AI, limit software you can run, and turn the main Linux distributions into spying platforms like Windows and macOS. But you can’t extinguish free software that easily as Linux users will have alternatives.
And for bonus material, the woke sexual deviants are outing themselves so you’ll know what projects to avoid. However, this one wasn’t even on my radar. And it’s a blessing that this is all exploding in the free software and opensource communities. I’d long noticed that a lot of these projects had far left liberal coders that were brainwashed in college, who tend to be the most vocal. I think we’ll see the divide that grows will be older people that were in the movement verses the new ones that haven’t extracted themselves yet from their programming that left them so indebted. It’s a masterful scheme to get people to pay so much for their own brainwashing and servitude.
