This all makes me wonder how much advertising Red Hat and IBM do with Phoronix? I have Pi-Hole DNS/Unbound servers with uMatrix and xBlock Origin in my browsers, so I don’t see much advertising or elements of certain websites, as they’ve just historically been so annoying with flashy ads, autoplay video ads… Consequently, one of the reasons Red Hat and IBM have been pushing for Wayland and trying to kill X11 is that it will support AI integration, which I believe is for bossware and spying on computer users and the coming digital ID, as Microsoft and Apple are really working towards locking down their computer operating systems to be spy vectors like Android and iOS already are.
