Pay close attention to the scam that this is. They’re wiping out mom and pop investors in rental properties and scooping them up at an extreme discount. They are basically stealing from landlords. You’d also have to think the large funds can absorb the insurance and property tax costs, or just self-insure. And it’s too well executed for the empty hydrants and this eviction moratorium for the fires to not have been intentionally orchestrated. Consequently, we saw that these fires were being intentionally set in California before we left whenever there was a big enough wind event. And it served multiple purposes, rising insurance and electrical rates, fighting for control of PG&E, and to be used for climate change megacorp propaganda. Consequently, California always had rain and drought cycles with not much rain in the summer months leading to fire threats, so it being related to changes in the climate is a flagrant lie. Furthermore, the laws are so opposed to landlords in California, that it was always a bad investment avenue, as it can take months to get renters removed when they don’t pay under normal circumstances. And with COVID and now this, telling a landlord you can’t evict or collect rent is just evil, especially when they’re scamming billions for the homeless crisis they’ve created and not really helping.
