2025 Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid Review

This is an interesting motorcycle for Kawasaki to produce because of the technology. And like some hybrids, you get the electric boost with a boost button like in F1, and a fully electric mode for around town with about a 45 mph speed limit, as it’s a lower voltage system. But robot shifting with automatic transmission would be a huge miss for me. And the mileage isn’t great, but like he said it was mostly highway where hybrids don’t shine. And there is just no reason to pay for the extra complexity unless you live in an oppressive city that only allows electric vehicles in certain areas, or you have a short city commute. I’d just buy a Ninja 500 which has great gas mileage and would be much more fun to ride. Consequently, I had a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R (600cc) sportbike for 18 years, and the only service it ever needed was the 15,000 mile valve check and adjustment, as I only ever really had to do was put new rubber, chains and sprockets on it. So I’d trust this system to be reliable from Kawasaki.
