The greatest proof of the Bible, the nation of Israel being restored after almost two millennia, makes everything involving them extremely important. As Israel is fighting on multiple fronts currently, one has to wonder how close we are to the Antichrist’s false peace deal with Israel setting up their betrayal. Consequently, I have a post<\/a> about my thoughts on the Antichrist being the Muslim Messiah, the Mahdi, and possibly arising out of Dubai, but another contender is the leader of Saudi Arabia as both are dueling to be the most extravagant destinations with competing Asherah poles, tallest buildings in the world which is currently held by Dubai. So normalization talks with Saudi Arabia are extremely interesting. And worth noting in a previous negotiation for normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia<\/a> the agreement included Jordan taking over and managing the Palestinian areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many Israelis have welcomed the victory of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and some, including Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, believe it might potentially enable the Israeli government to implement the annexation of Judea and Samaria, internationally known as the West Bank, in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump\u2019s decision to appoint former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee<\/strong><\/a> as the next U.S. Ambassador to Israel has further increased expectations of a potential annexation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Huckabee, an Evangelical Christian, is a strong Israel supporter and backs the Jewish state\u2019s historical right to Judea and Samaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the celebrations might be premature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrump will not approve annexation,\u201d an unnamed senior Republican senator with close ties to Trump stated<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the senator, Trump believes that such a drastic diplomatic move would be \u201ca mistake for Israel\u201d and undermine its standing in the international community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Trump has appointed several pro-Israel officials to join his team in January 2025, the president-elect is reportedly also highly focused on revitalizing the stalled normalization talks between Israel and Saudi Arabia. The Saudis have repeatedly linked any normalization with Israel to the implementation of a two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2023, just weeks before the Hamas Oct. 7 massacre, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) told Fox News that normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel was getting closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery day we get closer,\u201d MBS told<\/strong><\/a> Fox News anchor Bret Baier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the Hamas invasion and terror attack in southern Israel, and Israel’s war against Hamas in the Strip Gaza, the Saudis postponed discussions about normalizing ties with Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in early 2024, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud stressed that the Saudi Kingdom is still interested<\/strong><\/a> in establishing diplomatic ties with Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbsolutely there\u2019s interest, there\u2019s been interest since 1982 and before,\u201d Al Saud stated during an interview with BBC. He quickly added that the Saudi government links any potential normalization with Jerusalem to the implementation of the two-state solution<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been at this for a long time, and willing to accept Israel for a long time; it\u2019s a reality that\u2019s there that we have to live with. But we can\u2019t live with Israel without a Palestinian state,\u201d the Saudi ambassador added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smotrich, for his part, has declared 2025 the \u201cyear of sovereignty.\u201d Last week, he called<\/strong><\/a> Trump’s victory in the U.S. elections \u201can important opportunity for Israel.\u201d He emphasized, \u201cWe were a step away from applying sovereignty, and now is the time to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaders of the Jewish settler movement, in particular, have celebrated the Trump victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel Ganz, head of the Yesha Council \u2013 an umbrella organization of Jewish municipalities in Judea and Samaria \u2013 said that only annexing those areas would provide \u201ctrue peace.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe entire region is waiting for policies that will bring about stability and true peace,\u201d Ganz said<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cThe path to there goes through the application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beit El Council head Shai Alon also said the sanctions imposed by the Biden administration on settlers and settler organizations in Judea and Samaria should be lifted and called<\/strong><\/a> Trump\u2019s victory \u201cthe golden age of settlement.\u201d <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
