I don’t think they’re ready for a nuclear and all out war, as they haven’t put in place conscription changes yet (they could rush it through with the right stimulus). And I believe I saw a huge amount of the UK population was disabled, so the iodine being added to certain foods and beverages might be because they’ve gone too far in poisoning the population. But if you follow the link on the conscription bills in our legislature, they want to implement an automatic system for draft registration that will pull data from all kinds of other sources which actually has some interesting privacy implications. And another interesting tidbit is state legislation to automatically register applicants for drivers licenses. This all points to coordination.

“Automatic” Selective Service registration legislation would also be a privacy and data aggregation nightmare, giving the tiny, inept Selective Service System unprecedented new statutory authority to issue regulations compelling all other Federal agencies — even during “peacetime” and before an actual draft is authorized — to turn over any or all other Federal records, in bulk, that might identify or locate potential draftees.

State legislation to “automatically” register applicants for driver’s licenses with the SSS has similar practical problems, is pending in California with its next hearing scheduled for 1 July 2024 in the Assembly Transportation Committee.
