Have the OCGFC taken liberalism and their propaganda as far as it will go to where not enough people pay attention (the non critical thinkers still lap it up)? And are they now shifting the other way to build up some confidence in megacorp media again? From picking Commiela to all the legal games with Trump, it certainly seemed like they were steering the population to a Trump victory. And so far Trump is making a lot of promises (didn’t really come through on them last time). And remember, Trump is a member of the OCGFC, so it will interesting to see what reforms actually take place in the federal government, if at all. And the true tell of sincerity for meaningful change would be addressing the national debt and budget deficits<\/a> (Trump ran up the debt last time). So is this a real win for the country, or just a perceived one?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The owner of the Los Angeles Times has fired his entire editorial board as he seeks to return the paper to its journalistic roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Posting on the X platform, the paper\u2019s owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, said he was proud to have posted a letter opposing attacks on white women for voting for Donald Trump and that the paper would be undergoing some major changes moving forward:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proud that we posted this letter from one of our readers on X. When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard and we can respectfully exchange every American\u2019s view ..from left to right to the center. Coming soon. A new Editorial Board. Trust in media is critical for a strong democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon-Shiong, a billionaire who invented the cancer drug Abraxane, had previously responded to Trump\u2019s victory by stating that the \u201cAmerican people have spoken\u201d and pledging to provide \u201cfactual and balanced coverage\u201d to help heal America\u2019s political divide.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Last month, Soon-Shiong confirmed that the paper would not be endorsing a candidate for this presidential cycle, despite having previously endorsed Biden, Clinton and Obama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision led to a backlash among some of its Democratic readers, many of whom cancelled<\/a> their subscriptions in protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon-Shiong is not the only media mogul to block an endorsement of Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who owns The Washington Post<\/em>, similarly blocked<\/a> the paper’s endorsement of the Democratic nominee and has since demanded that they return to original, fact-based reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Trump’s stunning victory, Bezos enthusiastically congratulated him on “an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory,” before wishing him “all success in leading and uniting the America we love.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
