They then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2024\/04\/breaking-rinos-win-americans-lose-motion-table-motion\/\">passed <\/a>a measure to Table the Motion to Reconsider the legislation on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Democrat-run Senate unsurprisingly followed suit just after midnight Saturday, passing the spying bill, which will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/senate-renews-fisa-section-702-spying-privacy-rcna148394\">extend<\/a> Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) for two additional years, just minutes after it was scheduled to expire. This included an amendment offered by Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) requiring the federal government to obtain a warrant from the FISA Court before spying on Americans\u2019 private communications, which failed 42-50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>42-50: Senate defeated Sen.
